Secondary 2A - Chalk Mural!

Posted by: Victoria School, at: 5:03:00 PM

In a bid to decorate the rather green and ugly spot beside the Victoria School eco-pond, 2A decided to create a chalk mural to spice up the place in red, yellow and black – classic Victorian colours. We hope it wouldn’t be washed away in a second by rain.
Their previous idea challenge of wanting to build a sand castle at East Coast beach was put off as their teacher felt that going outside school for the challenge would be inappropriate. Yeah… they’re underage. Working in school grounds would mean that impressions would be imprinted in the school ground. They are painting 6 different murals as it is Victoria's 6th challenge with the theme, "Together We Grow". They feel that their class can work well together and only the weather can stop them. In rain, their chalk would be easily washed off and would not last. In all, it’s a great monument to the Victorian Challenge.
